About Program
Work with talented dancers who are using drama, dance, music, and acrobatics for education, social change, and development in Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi. Experience the transformative power of performance firsthand, and create a final project to showcase what you learn. Previous independent travel in Africa is strongly recommended.

Program Highlights
- Create a performance-based final project that will showcase your experience in Kenya
- Live in one of Africas largest and most interesting cities
- Optional excursions to a safari in the Serengeti, Africas biggest lake, the beach city of Mombasa, the ancient and religious icon Mt. Kenya, and dense rainforests
- Become immersed in Kenyan culture by living with the theater organizations director
- Work with highly skilled Kenyan performing artists and begin to understand the unique role of dance, music, and theater in East African urban society
