About Program
World Unite! arranges healthcare internships, clinical electives, and final-year rotations worldwide, including pre-medical, pre-nursing, pre-midwifery, medical, nursing, midwifery, community health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, and nutritional science placements.
We work with a comprehensive network of hospitals in Tanzania, Zanzibar, South Africa, Morocco, India, and Bolivia, offering a wide range of specialties and supervised rotations.
Psychology is another special focus, with many options available. Student internships are offered not only in clinical psychology but also in developmental and organizational psychology, in hospitals, clinics, multidisciplinary centers combining psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and behavioral therapy, as well as social work organizations, both on-site an as remote options.
If you are interested in integrative health sciences, you can intern in Ayurveda in India or herbal medicine in Zanzibar.

Complete a clinical elective or healthcare internship at Zanzibar’s public hospital network, including Mnazi Mmoja, Mwembeladu Maternity Hospital and Kidongo Chekundu Mental Hospital. Placements are available in medicine, nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, nutrition and other healthcare fields. Participants can rotate between departments under qualified supervision.
Choose from hospitals, health centers and dispensaries in Moshi and the Kilimanjaro region, including Mawenzi Regional Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Pasua Health Center and Kilema Hospital. Placements include medical electives, nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy and occupational therapy internships, plus pre-medical and pre-nursing opportunities. Students can often select a department or rotate between specialties.

Complete a clinical elective or healthcare internship at COMBASE Hospital or Clínica Los Angeles in Cochabamba. Opportunities include medicine, nursing and physiotherapy, as well as pre-medical and pre-nursing placements for participants who are not yet enrolled in medical school.
