About Program
World Unite! welcomes 3,000+ participants per year to Japan, with support offices in Tokyo and Kyoto.
We have Japan's most comprehensive Working Holiday support program. You can book our support package, which helps you with all arrangements before you come to Japan and provides one full year of support while you are in Japan. There are also guaranteed paid job options, including childcare, hospitality (hotels, ski resorts and ryokans), farm work, babysitting and ALT positions.
Our (unpaid) internships include business, marketing, media, tourism, childcare, law, IT, farming, wildlife conservation, and culinary arts.
Volunteer programs include environmental and cultural conservation, animal shelters and childcare.
World Unite! operates affordable sharehouse accommodation in Tokyo, Kyoto and Okinawa exclusively for program participants. We also arrange homestay accommodation and Japanese lessons.
Participants can join regular workshops, excursions and language exchange activities.

You can now stay in Tokyo or Kyoto for a year and through our Working Holiday option, even earn money, so that you can fund your complete stay yourself! We offer full support services during your entire year abroad! Available for citizens of UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France, Italy, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Argentina, Chile, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany and Austria.
As a participant of our Mother Nature Environmental Conservation Camp Japan you will stay on the grounds of the beautiful historic Chokokuji Temple on Sado Island and volunteer in environmental conservation, especially for the protection of the Crested Ibis, and various farming activities. As part of local communities you will have the chance to get to know a piece of rural and traditional Japan, which is typically not accessible to you as a normal tourist or when staying at larger cities.
Gain international work experience with startups and internationally oriented companies in Tokyo. Internships can cover business, marketing, communications, tourism, international education, import-export, media and services for foreigners in Japan. Many placements can be completed entirely in English. World Unite!’s Tokyo team provides preparation and local support throughout the internship.
Volunteer or intern with children in Tokyo at an after-school club, international kindergarten or preschool. Support children aged 1 to 10 through play, English practice, games, sports, arts and crafts, learning activities and daily routines. Professional staff supervise the placements, making them suitable for both volunteering and education internships.
Want to learn how to develop and draw manga from professional manga artists? In Tokyo, we partner with Mangajuku, a leading manga school, to combine practical manga lessons with Japanese language classes. Programs are available for 4 to 12 weeks and are open to participants aged 15 and above.

Our office in central Tokyo is open every weekday and all participants of our program can just walk in and get 1-to-1 support with finding a job from our team members Julia, Nina and Stephanie. Alternatively, participants can call us, email, or use whatsapp or line to get in touch with us during their full year in Japan. There is no reason to become sad! If you know of any participant who needs a job, please tell the person not to be shy and contact us.
