Elephant Research Interns

If you want a unique experience hiking daily through the forest to find elephants and observe their natural behaviors in their home environment, Kindred Spirit Elephant Sanctuary is the place for you. Volunteers must be physically fit to hike up and down mountains every day. At our sanctuary, you’ll see exactly how your donations help our elephants, the sanctuary, and the local community.

We have rescued 6 elephants from the tourism industry and brought them home to live in semi-wild conditions. We seek volunteers to collect data on our elephants and raise awareness about conservation and the challenges captive elephants face in Asia.
