About Program

Spend your days trekking through forested hills in search of elephants and documenting their natural behaviors in their home environment. At Kindred Spirit Elephant Sanctuary, photography interns capture real moments of elephant life while exploring mountainous terrain on foot. This role requires strong physical fitness and a love of hiking. Your images will play a key role in showing how donor support directly benefits the elephants, the sanctuary, and the surrounding community.

We have rescued six elephants from the tourism industry and returned them to live in semi-wild conditions. We are seeking a Photography Intern to help document elephant behavior and conservation work, while raising awareness about ethical wildlife conservation in Asia.
