Kawaiikalia Akua Farms: Fall Internship Program

This internship will be intensive and extensive. Jump right into current farm projects and learn the invaluable lessons each offers. We will be doing weekly field trips to different parts of the island for a larger context understanding. We will be planting lots of different exotics and building/designing a multitude of projects simultaneously both large scale and small scale. Interns will have the chance to participate and lead small scale building projects such as chicken coops, tent platforms, bee boxes, and hammock hideouts! There will be lots of chances to work in the kitchen with the farm chef, creating full course meals, sauces, seasonings, desserts, snacks, preserves, juices, and smoothies, all healthy, all organic, all vegetarian and locally sourced. Come contribute, by leaving your mark in Hawaii through a beautiful design, edible landscape, or tasty products.
