What is your favorite travel memory?

There is one memory that I will keep in mind forever. With my family I have been to the US canyons on the West Coast and I had the chance to go to the Monument Valley. We made a tour by car by the end of the afternoon, so we were alone in the site. When the tour finished, several Indian people were waiting for us and started to sing their traditional songs, from their ancestors. It was absolutely magical. I felt a strong connection between them through their telling and the place. At that moment, I felt aware of all the history and myths that live in this valley and I will never forget this feeling. We ended the night with a traditional meal at the bottom of one of the monuments, and it was very good! I wish everybody had this experience!

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I think this is complicated to give only one factor when so many can impact you. But I will select the human resources because of the size of our organization. People you work with can do the difference in the development of your business in the good way or not. A company, especially a young company that is growing up, needs to have people who will be defending her! Because I really think that believing in what you do is one of the most powerful incentive.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have and I still am! I work and live in London for several months now, but when I arrived I did not know this city at all. It's always a personal challenge, especially when this is not your country! I had to adapt myself to the professional British manners and discovered my job at the same time.

Of course, this is not something easy to do at the beginning because you have to come out of you comfort zone. But then you feel part of your company and things become very clear. I do not regret my choice of coming here and work for this company at all. I cope with daily challenges and I love that!

What unique qualities does your company possess?

One of the best qualities of Absolute is the capacity to work on two different continents with so many hours of difference between them! Absolute Internship is still young but works very efficiently. I talk to my colleagues who are in Asia everyday. Of course, the London team focuses on the Europe programs but we also know what happens in Asia and the same for the Asia team.
This is very nice to feel that we all are one and unique team who does its best to offer this life experience.

Describe a time when you felt especially proud to be part of your current team.

Actually it's very easy to find. I feel proud to be part of Absolute Internship team each time we have a student leaving the program with a big smile on his face! This is a long process and we follow-up the students from the moment of their application on our Website, to their return in their country. We are several people in contact with them and each person has a role in this procedure obviously. This is why, at the end, we can say this is a teamwork and we are proud of what we've done all together.
