Visiting the Maldives. I spent so much time in the water, I think I turned into a fish.
It was such a revelation to be surrounded by all that serenity, so much peace and quiet. Normally I spend my day surrounded by people making lots of noise!

What is your favorite travel memory?
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
Having previously worked in banking, finance, transformational change and utilities, I have had quite a hectic career to date. Working for ORA has given me the opportunity to develop patience and learn to be supportive of students.
What makes your company unique?
ORA offers student care like no other educational establishment I have worked for.
The needs and development of course participants are given the utmost consideration, and we give value and direction to their experience of education. I am pleased and proud to be a part of that.
What is the best story you’ve ever heard from a returning ORA student?
That I am the best teacher they have ever had! I could just be making that up, of course…
If you could go on any program your company offers, which would you choose and why?
Psychological and Behavioral Science. I am fascinated by human behavior, and would love to understand more of it.
Developmental psychology in particular is so transferable to what I do, and would make the teaching experience so much more enjoyable, both for me and my students.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being successful and why?
Tenacity and self-mastery. If you can’t master your own self, what else can you master? And if you don’t have the tenacity to keep going when things get tough, you’re finished before you started.
