What is your favorite travel memory?
My favorite travel memory is from Philippines. I stayed on a resort in an island where we were the only resort, so it was really calm and relaxing, yet I got to experience a lot of different types of water sports and go on adventures. It was very different from what I expected.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
I have grown a lot on a professional level since I started working for Australian Internships. My role has given me many opportunities to connect with people from different industries, positions and levels. I got to deal with current students, recent graduates, young professionals or experienced professionals. Also universities, different education organizations and industry leaders.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
A student has completed an internship with us; however, she was still struggling to find employment. Therefore, we have asked her to come to our office and have a meeting to help her improve her resume and learn how to stand out from other applicants. Ever since then, she has gotten much more interview opportunities and few offers from different companies.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
I would definitely go for the Professional Internship Program and do a Marketing or Events Management internship, as this is what I have studied at University. Also, Australian Internships has very good connections with host companies, with more than 7,000 organizations Australia wide. I am very confident that I would be offered a professional and rewarding internship.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
Australian Internships is recognized as the global leader of internship program providers. With more than 20 years' experience, AI has established a long-term quality reputation and is proud to be the preferred internship provider for most leading Australian universities. We offer internships in almost all academic disciplines for candidates from over 90 countries around the world!
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
A successful company needs to have a very good network, which we have. As our network grows, our resources grow too and that really help us finding the perfect internship for our candidates, with amazing customer service and support from the beginning until the end of the program.
