Title:
Admin Manager

Photos

I am a Thai citizen living and working in Sukhothai as an Admin Manager for over 4 years at Kids-English Recruitment Ltd. I study law at the weekend and eventually I aspire to be like my father and work in the Thai Royal Police.

What is your favorite travel memory?

For me, my best memory is travelling for the first time with my mother and father together to the beach in Thailand. My father works as a policeman and is always busy; we often only went on holiday with my mother, but on this one occasion we all got to travel together as a family, which made it my most vivid travel memory!

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have learned so many things it's hard to choose just one!

I am now more patient, better at English and have a great knowledge of the intricate and bureaucratic paperwork process for foreigners working in Thailand. I am now more confident when communicating with foreigners. I have learned to remain calm even when everyone else is losing their heads!

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

It's hard to choose just one person’s experience... We have over 80 teachers per year and I have worked for Kids-English for over 4 years, so that's over 300 teachers who have told me stories.

I feel that everyone always has great things to say and, as with life, sometimes there are good days and bad days, but on the most part, our teachers have positive experiences because we are working as a support team and assisting them.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Job Placement and 5-day training course because it's free of charge and the Trainers and support team are really knowledgeable! The location of our program is Sukhothai Province, which is the first-ever capital city of Thailand and has a UNESCO World Heritage Site that we take Teachers to visit. I really enjoy taking teachers to the Historical park and watching their jaws drop and the magnificent beauty of the park, especially at sunset.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

We don't charge fees to our clients! We run a completely free program for foreign teachers. This includes free training, free accommodation in fantastic fully furnished apartments with air conditioning (better than my own accommodation) Also, we have a multinational and multicultural staff team which I really enjoy working alongside!

I find that I always feel proud when we at Kids-English as a team successfully complete all the paperwork for our foreign teachers and I see the foreign teacher with a big smile on their face because they are a legal teacher in Thailand!

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I try to follow a few principles which include:

  1. There is no I in Teamwork.
  2. To always expect the unexpected.
  3. Never make mountains from mole hills.
  4. Understand that sometimes things are lost in translation.
  5. Learn to laugh when things get stressful.

Having a really approachable management team who always supports us also helps tremendously!
