I love to be near the beach; to hear the sound of waves makes my mind calm and more relaxed. That's why I always choose my travel destination to the beach. Four years ago, I gave myself for my birthday present a trip to Borneo at Derawan island. I did dive there and did it alone. I still remember that, to get to that island, you need to drive by car for almost 6 hours, but it was worth it with all of the views I saw there

I'm an Indonesian woman who is really interested in marine life, has a really simple life and is an easy-going person. I finished my Master's degree in business and spent more than 10 years working as a marketing and promotion manager and change my whole career and life to learn and do something with the ocean and become a conservationist.
What is your favorite travel memory?
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
All I see and all I learn at this company has now changed the way I'm thinking. They make me know more about nature, and how to try to take care and keep all things in balance. With the small movement from how we treat our Earth and ocean, hopefully, we can make this place better, not make worse.
Meeting new people from all over the world makes me have a picture of what life looks like out there and that has motivated me for one day to make a new list of maybe one day I will go there and see what's in there with my own eyes.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
The best story from a returning student is while they grow up and find what their passion is. They continue doing what they love, try to make their own Research and share it with others. When they remember the small things we teach and keep continue teaching or spreading the positive things about that, that makes me very happy.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
The instructor program, because I want to teach other people, spread the word how to dive and how to react with the marine life. I love to dive and I love marine life, and I want to spread that love to everyone. Be a better diver with better knowledge about it. Do something for the local community, like teaching the locals and make them love ocean life and be guardians for it.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
This company is my family. We have the same passion and the same motivation to make this work. This is not only our work or job; we do it because we love it. I'm very proud of this team when everyone is not thinking they are better than others, but they teach each other to make everyone growing better together, without leaving anybody behind and everyone is appreciated with each other's work
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
Teamwork, that's the biggest factor to be successful. Without work as a team, work will be nothing. Everyone being honest and open and sharing knowledge are also some factors that make the company bigger because everyone has their own capabilities and are good at it. So once everyone shows the best of that and shares it with others, it will be perfect.
