What is your favorite travel memory?

I had the opportunity to go visit friends in Scotland when I was twelve. We travelled to England and I spent my 13th birthday in France that summer. That was when my love of foreign language started. Later, I majored in French in college and returned to spend a year abroad. I've been back several times over the years.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Working in the teaching and travel industry, I definitely have the travel bug! I love seeing the world through the eyes of young people starting out on big overseas journeys with tefl training and even older people like myself who have gone through a career change. It's awesome to see photos from different peoples' travels.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

I love hearing how a student took advantage of the pandemic and took his training, turning that time into something good. He said that TeflPros helped him "transform his time in Covid isolation into something worthwhile." And that he was looking forward to "paying it forward" and enriching the lives of his future students.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

If I could just switch to a different life and teach abroad, I would be torn between teaching in France and teaching in Thailand because of the people and the country. While France would be familiar to me, Thailand would be completely new. It would definitely be enriching either way. I used to want to be a teacher when I was seven years old.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

TeflPros offers a human connection that many tefl courses do not have. We are a genuine group of people seeking to enrich the lives of others. Our students get so much out of our program. Not only is the program easy to follow, students get to learn with real teachers. So many of them appreciate that.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I think consistency is so important in business. Having standards and procedures that people can count on each time they interact with your business. And Authenticity. So much of business is done online these days that human connection is so necessary. People want to do business with other people and not robots and automated voice prompts.
