TEFLPros Plus 120 Hour Online TEFL Course

I really can't complain about this course at all. It's definitely hard work, it's dense and a lot of content, but it is all very educational and has helped to orient me on beginning my English teaching journey. The course content is extremely complete, half of it is preparation and learning how to create lessons, with lots of opportunities to practice and refine that ability as well as examples of well done lessons. The other half is classroom management, which you also get to see videos of class in and see examples of well-employed class management, which helps you prepare, because sometimes it's a bit counterintuitive.

Overall, very happy with the money spent and I'm looking forward to my future in this industry. TEFLPros has put me on a great path and I feel prepared for what's coming.

I think this is an EXCELLENT course! The staff of TEFLPros are helpful and inviting, and I appreciate that. This course offers everything that a new or non teacher would need in learning to be a teacher. Since I am an experienced educator, the majority of the material was fundamental and familiar to me. However, the "Tenses" lesson served as a welcome refresher. I would highly recommend this program to other teachers I know who are seeking to distinguish their resume from the competition. I am glad I chose to get my TEFL certificate through TEFLPros!

The creators of the TEFLpros 120 hour online course definitely left no stone unturned when they planned this course. I honestly cannot think of a single thing they did not address. Even though the course was online I felt I was involved with people that were truly invested in me having the best educational experience possible. The Coaching Calls provide ample support for addressing a student's own individual goals, as well as being able to learn from other students questions. And tech support is just an e-mail away, always addressed promptly.
The course covers everything from lesson planning to classroom management to the nuts and bolts of preparing for a job interview in a foriegn country and so much more. The videos showing teachers utilizing the skills that are taught are an excellent opportunity to get a feel for what it's like to be in an actual classroom. And Whitney's passion for teaching shines through at every turn. For anyone wanting to embark on the adventure of teaching abroad, I highly recommend this program.

I feel that the team at TEFLPros does a great job of introducing a method of teaching that is more focused on teaching the man to catch the fish rather than catching a fish for him. With their teaching style, you create a small community in the classroom where the students actively participate and support each other to succeed. You can see them using their teaching values in the course. They are there with you whenever you need it. There seems to be no limit to the amount of help they can offer. My only regret is that I didn't take time to do the volunteer teaching when I had the chance. Now, I'm too busy with my current teaching job. 😅

After looking through scores of TEFL online programs, I settled on the top 7 of which, TELF PROS was in the list.

I found TEFL PROS online curriculum, easy to access and follow. Great content. Just the right length (120 hours course) I hadn't studied since grad school, so I grabbed a lot of coffee and hit the "books".

This program has a wonderful support system for students. Whitney's weekly coaching calls were absolutely invaluable. Several times, I reached out to her personally and received a call within a day or two. TEFL PROS also has a Facebook page where we, the students, are encouraged to post our successes. Lots of camaraderie.

Can't say enough great things about TEFL PROS!

The TEFL Pros course was very efficient as a whole. First by meeting the founders via Zoom and then the process of registering was easy. The course was very consistent in it's format . The material covered equipped me with the tools I'll need to be an effective language teacher locally or abroad. The Units were concise, and had a logical flow. The support was always accessible and will continue to be in the future with questions, concerns and job assistance. Overall, the course was very well organized and thorough.

Because it was remote learning, online, I wanted examples of classroom experience. Additionally, I hadn't created lesson plans in my past experience, so I wanted that to be a central feature of the program. I thought the lessons were engaging, the resources helpful and the numerous video examples of a classes applying the lessons was informative. Finally, the course offered weekly follow up/question opportunities to understand the lessons, but it was also good opportunity for some of the students to meet one another.
From what I can tell, this is an excellent ESL certificate program.
