What can I say this course was great. A TEFL course can be nerve racking especially without any previous teaching experience but in the end this was a fantastic experience. The material was clearly presented and if I ever had a question there were great staff on hand to help. The course was also fun and made me realise that teaching is about engaging with students as much as it is setting homework. By the end of the course I felt fully ready to dive into the world of teaching. No regret, I couldn't rexommend this TEFL course more.

I took this course not knowing what to expect since it is self-paced and online. Whitney narrated the lessons and she did an amazing job. Especially with the lesson plan examples, I got some great ideas from her. Being that I am a hands on learner, it was a little difficult for me to stay focused since the classes were lecture based. I did learn a lot and I think that this program is perfect for beginners and those just starting their career as a teacher. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to begin teaching English.

The TEFLPros program caters to visual, audio, and kinesthetic learners alike and in doing that, models it to us as future educators. There isn't a single element that they did not model in the course. I feel like I learned to teach through being the student in a way. If you learn better through reading, course material is available to read. If you learn best listening, course material is covered in audio format with a slideshow presentation to highlight key points of the lesson. If you are a 'doer', there are hours upon hours of observation videos that follow each lesson.
They did an intensive module on grammar, but most of the course covers classroom management, teaching styles, workplace-related advice, lesson planning, and things like that.
I feel like Whitney and her team strive to eliminate every obstacle in the way of their students' learning. Yet another wonderful teaching model. I learned so much. It was a great course.

I really can't complain about this course at all. It's definitely hard work, it's dense and a lot of content, but it is all very educational and has helped to orient me on beginning my English teaching journey. The course content is extremely complete, half of it is preparation and learning how to create lessons, with lots of opportunities to practice and refine that ability as well as examples of well done lessons. The other half is classroom management, which you also get to see videos of class in and see examples of well-employed class management, which helps you prepare, because sometimes it's a bit counterintuitive.

Overall, very happy with the money spent and I'm looking forward to my future in this industry. TEFLPros has put me on a great path and I feel prepared for what's coming.

I think this is an EXCELLENT course! The staff of TEFLPros are helpful and inviting, and I appreciate that. This course offers everything that a new or non teacher would need in learning to be a teacher. Since I am an experienced educator, the majority of the material was fundamental and familiar to me. However, the "Tenses" lesson served as a welcome refresher. I would highly recommend this program to other teachers I know who are seeking to distinguish their resume from the competition. I am glad I chose to get my TEFL certificate through TEFLPros!

The creators of the TEFLpros 120 hour online course definitely left no stone unturned when they planned this course. I honestly cannot think of a single thing they did not address. Even though the course was online I felt I was involved with people that were truly invested in me having the best educational experience possible. The Coaching Calls provide ample support for addressing a student's own individual goals, as well as being able to learn from other students questions. And tech support is just an e-mail away, always addressed promptly.
The course covers everything from lesson planning to classroom management to the nuts and bolts of preparing for a job interview in a foriegn country and so much more. The videos showing teachers utilizing the skills that are taught are an excellent opportunity to get a feel for what it's like to be in an actual classroom. And Whitney's passion for teaching shines through at every turn. For anyone wanting to embark on the adventure of teaching abroad, I highly recommend this program.
