What is your favorite travel memory?

I am a mother of two so local travel is more feasible. My family loves to get out in nature every chance we can get. Being located in Asheville means that the mountains are right at our doorstep. We love to watch the seasons change, go for hikes and watch my son play ball. That time together is priceless.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Over the past several years I have seen myself grow into my role. I have consistently taken on more responsibilities in the areas of finances and management and have greatly improved my time management skills. I have particularly enjoyed taking specialty courses in my field. I pride myself in being a lifelong learner.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

We have had a lot of participants recently whose goal is to help refugees learn English. We've had European grads move to Greece to work in camps and we have also had Americans who are setting up local programs in their own communities. Watching people redirect their plans to help those in need is such a blessing.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I love that we are a small business that works on a global scale. We work with folks from China to Brazil helping them make their TEFL dreams come true. This level of impact is something that I haven't experienced with other businesses that I have worked in. Every day is different and every participant's goal is unique.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Every great company that I have worked with has had good communication running throughout its management and operations. TEFLPros is no different. Communication is necessary not only for the health of the organization but also for the success and well-being of its employees and customers. Our team here at TEFLPros is very close-knit and a joy to work with.
