What is your favorite travel memory?
When i've been travelling to the Philippines, i went to Cebu, Mactan,and Boracay. I had agood memories whereas i can improving my social skills, work ethic standard, and making a new friend. I was reallly scared to a new place before but, i dare myself to face the new challengin time in my life with a new mindset, if it is to be it is up to me.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
Objectively everything is a whole new level here. Which i'm so excited to learn and work with. I have no background in science whatsoever and feels under educated. I think even though i'm knowledgeable with some ecology stuff doesnt mean i understand ecology thoroughly. But my colleague, and everyone seemed to be very supportive and fair. They are super duper humble to giving me a lot of chance to learn and to grow.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
The most common story that i have ever heard factually is how the IOP change their whole perspective about themselves, their mindset, and their decission making accordingly. There's so many option training but they choose IOP because it has own uniqeness that can not be compared subjectively with any other programs. So interesting story sometimes has been share also like, for example how a neurologist scientists been doing as he is the first person in his family who goes to college, working as a labour and sleeping only 3,5 hours earned money and go for his dream.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
Marine biology, conservation, and research program. The reason is i want to learn something more deeper of how the knowledge can save our Ocean and our people.Because i want to make a difference knowledgeably. Learning and acting is the only way we could make a better condition for ocean thoroughly with the correct way.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
The values and the regulation are aligned accordingly. They respect and get each other with objective manner, knowledge and add a little bit more fun to whatever they made. At some point people think that science always about theory, seriousness, nerdiness' and everything in between. As a matter of fact there's another way to make science more fun and exciting and lovely.Therefore, IOP.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
Improving skills set with all the core values, attitude, action, and to be able to learn constantly. Afterward it is very important to deliver all the knowledge to growth continuously because we are human after all, in order to make a difference to a better condition we have to learn by teaching, taking action and sharing our passion to the people who might be involved in the business.
