My experience in China

I felt really happy getting to join the camp in China with Ruili Institute. It was such a great experience and I got to meet new friends, new teachers, and learn a lot of new things.

I’d really recommend it to anyone who’s still not sure about what they want to study in the future. Joining a camp like this helps you try new things and see experiences you’ve never had before.

This camp gave me so many new experiences. I got to try living in a different environment, talk with new people, and it honestly made me enjoy the whole trip so much. I’m really glad I got to join this camp.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
You don’t have to worry about living abroad because the camp staff take really good care of everyone. Whenever there was a problem, they never left us to deal with it alone.
And don’t be afraid to use your language skills. Just give it a try once, and you’ll see it’s actually more fun than you think.

My first time in Xian.

This was my first time visiting Xi’an in China. It is a city that I had wanted to visit for a very long time. When I found this program, I finally had the chance to go there. I was very impressed with the university, the teaching style, and the overall learning experience. The teachers were supportive and the classes were interesting. I also really liked the environment in Xi’an, including the weather, the food, and the convenient transportation. Everything made daily life easy and comfortable. This experience left a deep impression on me. I miss this place very much and I truly hope to visit Xi’an again in the future.

What was your funniest moment?
I like the classroom atmosphere where I study with international students, not only Chinese students. It helps me practice Chinese, and at the same time, I can also learn other languages.

Unforgettable Chinese Immersion Experience!

This Chinese Immersion Camp in Tianjin was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. As a 19-year-old student with only basic Chinese skills, I was worried about keeping up with the other participants at first—but from day one, the teachers and staff made me feel incredibly welcome and at ease.

The Chinese classes were highly practical, focusing on real-life conversation. By the end of the first week, I was already ordering food, haggling at markets, and chatting with local Chinese students in Chinese. This wasn’t textbook learning; it was using the language to live.

The cultural experiences were unforgettable. We hiked the Great Wall, visited the Ancient Culture Street, tried the iconic local breakfasts, and joined a traditional calligraphy workshop. Every activity felt like a window into authentic Chinese life, not just a tourist attraction—it was so much fun!

If I get the chance, I want to join the Chongqing Chinese Immersion Camp next year to visit the legendary Hongyadong, taste authentic hotpot, and become more fluent in Chinese.
