About Program

INESLE offers an immersive Spanish language and cultural program for high school students. This two- or four-week experience is designed to deepen students' language skills through daily Spanish classes and hands-on cultural activities. Mornings focus on conversational Spanish, with small classes led by native-speaking instructors, while afternoons are filled with cultural excursions in Madrid and Santander, such as visiting world-famous museums, historic sites, and UNESCO locations like Toledo and Segovia.

Students can choose to stay in a university dorm or with a carefully selected local family, both providing an authentic environment for language practice and a firsthand experience of Spanish culture. Weekends feature longer excursions to beautiful towns like Burgos and Bilbao, combining education with exploration. The INESLE Madrid program is a unique blend of language learning, cultural immersion, and travel, making it a summer to remember for students eager to exlore Spain!

The best experience!

I can honestly say that I loved every second of my time with INESLE Madrid. Staying with a host family taught me so much about Spain and the culture. I truly believe that INESLE paired me with the best possible family. From the staff to the kids and families within the program, everyone was super kind and welcoming. INESLE brought me new friendships, experiences, and knowledge. Best of all, my Spanish speaking and understanding improved so much during my 2 weeks in Madrid. This program helped me grow as a Spanish speaker, but more importantly as a person. I still keep in touch with the people I met in Spain all the time. I am so grateful for the time I was lucky enough to spend with INESLE! I would easily do it again.

What was your funniest moment?
Watching the directors take photos of us at every monument was super funny for my friends and I because these photos would need to be taken at every angle. We couldn't stop laughing.
Pros
  • Very educational
  • Host family stay
  • Immersion into Spanish language and culture

Excelent Experience

Unique and Excelent experience. A Chicago boy´s was in our house during 15 days. The Cultural and Funny experience with inesle was very good. This is a very good opportunity to share experience between 2 countries. The directors and team of INESLE are very committed and involvement and this is a good K to get the best result!
They have the opportunity to know the most important village near Madrid like Segovia or Toledo and the most important buliding/musseums of Madrid (Plaza Mayor, Museo del Prado, Museo Reina Sofia, Royal Palace, others).
