It has been a wonderful journey at ATI. Our mentor Amrita is a wonderful person who taught us the exact ways of becoming a TESOL teacher – include love & support in your teaching method. This has provided me with a lot of confidence regarding 2 aspects of teaching – firstly, how to plan your lessons for the students that you wish to teach and secondly, how to communicate with them. Thank you for all the sweet memories.

It was a truly wonderful learning experience for me. My friend and I both found communications to be spotty, even sketchy prior to departure. We feared a scam. Once we arrived, however, we were housed in a brilliant condo in a quiet part of Phuket, had training right on the beach, and had ample job support once placed. Training didn't support teaching too much, but salary was more than sufficient and the six months were an absolute blast. Ultimately, if you just submit yourself to the somewhat chaotic preface, which is almost preparatory for life in Thailand, and have a leap of faith, you'll be rewarded.
