AMPED Abroad

At AMPED Abroad (or AMPED as our friends say), we specialize in pairing one-of-a-kind people with once-in-a-lifetime adventures. AMPED volunteers and interns are challenged to go beyond their comfort zone and:

1. Expand their thinking
2. Explore exotic lands and cultures
3. Engage with the local people through a project placement of their choice in Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, or Peru. And other regions are soon to come!

Choose from: childcare/orphanage, environmental conservation, healthcare/medicine, street/at-risk children, animal care, sea turtle conservation, youth sports, elderly care, physical therapy, dentistry, construction, teaching... and too many more for us to name.

AMPED offers affordability, flexible dates, gap years, host family stays, discounted or free Spanish lessons (varies by destination), and college credit.
