Amped for Education

In Nicaragua, attending school beyond 6th grade is not required - as a result, there is very little opportunity for students to obtain a high school education. Amped For Education is working to combat this statistic by expanding the availability of high schools in Nicaragua, and by volunteering with us you can help us achieve our goal!

Our volunteer trips are unique in that participants not only spend time working in the communities we have become closely connected to, but they also get the opportunity to become immersed in the culture of Nicaragua and experience the country's natural beauty.

Volunteer trips last an average of 10 days, and we welcome anyone over age 15 who would like to volunteer with us. We also welcomes high school or college teachers who would like to bring a group of their students on a service learning trip.

The positive impact our volunteer trips have had on both volunteers and the Nicaraguan students we support is immeasurable!
