Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS) is an independent US non-profit scientific research and educational organization based in Bermuda. Utilizing our unique location in the North Atlantic situated on one of the most northerly coral reefs in the world, BIOS has been at the forefront of marine science, oceanography and climate research for over 100 years. From our long running time series of oceanographic and atmospheric observations to our studies of our rich marine environment we are proudly committed to the global scientific community and to educating and training the next generation of scientists.
