Before joining the internship, I knew nothing about ocean science and I'm leaving having learnt so much and wanting to keep on studying! I was a diver before but I feel like diving is so different now I know about what I'm seeing and the ocean.
Aris was super patient when I would take a minute to understand certain concepts and was a great instructor.

The facilities at the dive centre are great and the unlimited diving boosted my no. of dives significantly!

I would highly recommend doing this if you are even slightly interested in the ocean, and do not worry if you don't have a science background.

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?

We saw some eagle rays on one of our dives which was insane as Aris told us they are not that common in the Gili Islands
