Excellent customer service

Unfortunately our trip was cancelled due to the Pandemic but other than a slight hiccup during booking the customer service from The Dragon Trip was amazing. We were contacted in advance of our trip to be told it had been cancelled and offered a 110% voucher to book another date. Due to our circumstances we needed a full refund. Replies to our emails were quick and polite. We were told we would have the refund by 31st July which we accepted at the time, a couple of months later we checked back to see if there was an improvement on this date and offered a payment plan with money arriving in my account immediately. Less than a week later an email came through saying the full remaining balance had been paid into my account. Alex who was emailed myself also offered advice with regards to other travel companies who we are struggling to get replies and refunds from. I highlight recommend this company for their customer service and look forward to booking and travelling with them in the future.

Epic China

What an awesome trip so far! The activities we have done and the things we have seen are truely breathtaking, from the great Wall to kayaking down the Li River. The adventure leaders are always keen to help and are easy to talk to.

The people I have met along the way have been cool and friends for life. I have enjoyed every moment (even the night trains) on the dragon trip and recommend it to anyone and everyone.

What would you improve about this program?
Slightly cheaper and maybe increase the places we stay and reduce in other places

China Trip

Great trip, well organised and really is worth your money for the experience you get. I would defiantly recommend this trip.

This trip meant that you could go and enjoy the cities but the next day you will be traveling somewhere so different and this was a great contrast.

There were lots of night trains to get to places one 16 hours long so bare that in mind.

The leaders are all very helpful and know a lot about each place and are happy to answer any questions.

What would you improve about this program?
More honestly regarding when people join the group and when people leave the group early. There were less people at the end of the trip and this impacts the overall experience.

Dragon Trip - Beijing

Had an amazing time in Beijing. Highlight for me was going to the Great Wall. Thanks to the Dragon Trip team for organising this so well. Delicious (though spicy!) lunch at the hostel before heading to the Wall, specifically in time to see the sunset (must admit, I didn't join for the sunrise, but I am not a morning person!). Luna was a great guide and I was lucky to have such a nice, welcoming group. Would absolutely recommend to both solo travellers and couples / groups.

What would you improve about this program?
Suggestion only as know there are probably date privacy issues, but would be nice if could get an idea before travelling of who else is in the group eg asking everyone to write a 2 line intro.
Alternatively an ice breaker when we all convene for the first time, helps with remembering names!

Catherine’s Trip

Travelling via public transportation allowed us to connect with ordinary Japanese people. The diversity of trips and experiences gave us a wonderful glimpse of an amazing country and has encouraged me to want to revisit Japan on my own. Will definitely be back to Japan as there’s too much to see.

Favourite experiences include the food and the Tokyo Municipal Building.

All this was helped by the great group of people I found myself traveling with.

Skip the hostel in Hiroshima and reduce the reliance on Snapchat
