Highly recommend!

A great team of highly experienced surfers. We had a blast and learnt so much - the instructors are fun and know how to get you surfing waves from your first lesson.
Surfing in Bondi was amazing and the safety tips were really useful. The teachers are really used to first time and beginner level surfers and manage to provide one on one attention in the group classes whilst also letting you apply the knowledge on your own.
Highly recommend!

Perfect for a first surfing experience !

Travelling to Australia for the first time I absolutely wanted to try surfing on Bondi beach. I did it with lets go surfing and it was great, I highly recommend it !
We did it with an Australian friend in a group of about 10 persons. The staff was very nice and clear in their explanations, and you can get a glorious picture of yourself on the board (or drowning).

I wish you a pleasant trip and a great surfing experience !

Bondi Surf Sesh

I only had a couple of days in Sydney and wanted to make sure to get some surfing in while I was there. Let's Go Surfing is located right on Bondi Beach and their amazing surf coaches take a few groups out each day (and for several week courses -- wish I had time for that!) . In our group there were quite a few of us, but our instructors were able to give each and every one of us the attention we needed to feel good out there. There was a range of skills in our group, folks who were surfing for the first time to folks who had surfed before and just wanted to get out and play. We all had a good time and most of us got up! The hours in the water flew by, I would definitely do a Lets Go Surfing class again -- highly recommend! Don't be fooled by my intense grimace in this photo, I was having a blast out there :)

Note: I am a Go Overseas employee, the above review is a reflection of my own personal experience with LGS as a traveler.

What is your favorite travel memory?

One of my favorite travel memories was arriving in Turkey – a country I had no idea about. That day, I met this local who took me on a private motorbike tour of the town and the surrounding hills to learn all about its culture and history. It was incredible to meet someone so happy to share their knowledge of their home with me.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have grown into someone who is passionate about how great our country is and wants to make sure that everyone can come and experience the best of it for themselves. I am changing everyday as I meet more and more people from all over the world who come to us. I also get to learn about their journey through surfing.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

My favorite story is of an older lady I booked in. She had surfing on her bucket list and was very hesitant but really wanted to try. She was very nervous on the day, and I was lucky enough to be able to join the surf lesson with her and paddle out together.

We got an email from her the next week saying how great the experience was and that she was so glad she did it.

Getting to see how people's view of the ocean changes after surfing with us is one of the best parts of the job.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would definitely choose to do our Byron Bay tour. I have never been to Byron Bay before, and it would be great to be taken on a tour with a local around the area and be shown the best of the best, and learn all about its history and culture as well. The tour also includes lunch and a surf lesson, of course – two of my favorite things!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Our company has many great people who all work very hard to make sure we are the best at what we do. We want to make sure that everyone who comes to us leaves happy and with a great unforgettable memory. Our team always welcomes everyone, and we love to support our local community.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I think the biggest factor in being a successful company is passion and integrity. If you have people that love what they do, it makes it easy to do what you do. We have great leaders who lead through example and who always aim to do their best, take advice, and constantly look for ways to improve.
