I had been years and years out of education being older however I found the course and it’s materials engaging and had a wide range of visuals and videos as well as an option to hear the content in an audio version. I loved the fact that I could do it in my own time with no pressure which gave me time to digest and reflect on the information I was learning.

Whenever I had any problems about anything I would email the academic team. They were quick to respond and very helpful and supportive. The only criticism I would have is that when I did the big assessments there was not very much feedback which I found quite disappointing after all the hard work it had taken me to complete them.

Overall though the experience was a very positive one and to anyone older going back to education I urge you to go for it as I feel that doing this course is not only achievable with a good mindset and a bit of hard work but also a great confidence booster. I feel elated after doing this course and I am finally able to move abroad. I am SO happy I went ahead and did this course.

All you need to know and learn as a TEFL teacher is provided on this course. I was on holiday in London when I decided to start the course. I requested a call back and spoke with someone who was helpful and guided my decision on choice of the course. The course layout is easy to navigate and the quizzes help you refresh and serves as a progress measure . Coming from a non-teaching background, I found it to be a good platform.
The support is good . I had personal situation with my mom dying during my course period and greatly appreciate Jenny O'Sullivan for her prompt assistance with course extension. Looking forward to more support when needed.

I loved every moment of working through this course. The website and app worked perfectly, the content was wonderfully put together and the activities were very insightful. The whole academic team is amazing and marked my assessments faster than I expected every time! Their feedback was so good I only had to retake one assessment only once. I am very proud to have completed my course and to finally be a TEFL teacher ! It has been a fantastic, empowering and interesting experience ! The course is easy to follow so personally I didn’t need any help from my tutor as everything was clear and easy to understand. I particularly appreciated the hints and advice provided to pass the assessements which have been very helpful. I wanted to take a Celta at first but the Tefl level suits me the best because it is less demanding, more affordable and yet it can give access to the same job positions.

The TEFL Institute should be commended for the overall structure, easy to use and encompassing course. Although I was somewhat nervous, as I hadn't studied for a while, the lesson plans made it easy to learn (all which i had learned in school, many year ago !). Together with help from The Academic Team (Jenny O'Sullivan, Rachel Hammond, Lauren Graham, Jacob Thomas, Walter Cullinan) I have managed to receive my diploma in a short space of time. With the days still clocking, I am able to recap anything I am doubtful of. The step by step tutorials have made it easier to consolidate all the notes I have taken & the knowledge gained.
