Viva Venao

Viva Venao is an organization serving to promote and enhance the experience in the coastal town of Playa Venao, Panama. Panama is a rich biodiverse region with lush natural surroundings and beautiful beaches, jungles, waterfalls, mangroves. In the summer, whales come to give birth and you see mothers playing with their offspring right off the coast. In the fall, sea turtles come to nest, and you might see baby turtles hatch from the sand to rush into the ocean. Our location in Playa Venao is 4.5 hours from Panama City (by car or 30 mins by plane); the area is peaceful, pristine. Though tourism and development has really taken off in recent years, the community is mindful of keeping certain aspects of this majestic area untouched.
