Teaching aides at the local school (preK - 5th)

The local school recently had to close its doors due to poor organization, but will be restarting its engines for the new school year (Sept 2018 - June 2019).

As teacher's aides, the tasks will be to welcome the kids to this new structure and help advance their education by tutoring in the classroom (various lower-level subjects) or teaching extracurriculars (art, music, PE). Nature is a big part of the curriculum so you may be asked to chaperone a marine biology excursion to the beach or teach nature survival skills, how to identify animals, etc. Most of all the main task is to have fun and inspire the kids to learn. The school runs on a US schedule (Sept - June) with holidays following the Panamanian schedule. Spanish is not required.
