About Program

Involvement in one or more of the following projects:
- Sea turtle conservation. Tasks include building a nursery to prevent poaching, scouting the beaches for nesting turtles during season, and educating the local schools & community about the dangers of poaching and littering. Spanish preferred but not required.
- Recycling initatives. Panama still has very little recycling available. Tasks include liaising with local recycling organizations to help establish a recycling route. Spanish required.
- Teach kids. Tasks include teaching English and how to swim/surf to underserved local schools, or volunteering with the local expat school as teaching aides and role models.
- Reforestation and animal conservation. Azuero is home to the endangered spider monkey. Tasks include volunteering with a local environmental organization to participate in projects and help educate the community.
- Spay & neuter clinic for the abundant stray population
