Hi, great question! Unfortunately flight is not covered in the program fee.

As our placements are in rural areas of Korea only, any of the potential locations will be at least a few hours away from Seoul City. Our program does not prioritize placements near large cities; individuals who are interested more towards the metropolitan life may be interested in our sister program, EPIK! I believe 6 months is the minimum contract term with TaLK (6 months being pretty flexible -- most private English academies and other public school programs only offer 1+ year contracts). That said, you could try and touch base with the program's administration to see if they'd make an exception. You could also try the Private Academy / "Hagwon" route and see if they offer summer term contracts.

Hi Ana. Yes, assuming your first term went well, you will be given the option to renew your contract for an additional 6 month or 1 year term (your choice).

In 2009, when I was part of the program, the housing options you got depended on where you were placed. Some of the options were your own apartment, living with a home stay family (which is what I did), or even staying at a home on school grounds. I'm not sure that everyone had the option to have an apartment, especially in very rural areas - or you may have to travel more to the school if you do...
