Where was your accommodation? What was your weekly travel budget?

During my time in the program I lived at The Stay Club in Camden which provided housing for students from all over the world. The rooms were small but my roommate and I managed to function in the space. They came and cleaned the rooms every other day, which included replacing towels and sheets.

Also as for my weekly budget Intern Group provided an Oyster card for the london metro system that was included in our program tuition so we weren't constantly coming out of pocket for that. They also gave us food vouchers that allowed us to basically eat for free at restaurants around where we lived so budgeting was simple because the necessities were taken care of.

In terms of accommodation we stayed in Gower street which was university housing for UCL (this was back in 2007). However recently the students have been staying it nicer Nido student housing near Kings Cross. I walked to work every morning so didn't pay for it but monthly travel roughly is £100 just for commuting to work. The dorms they stay in now are really good and a good location for connections to travel within and out of London.
