Can I teach in Russia with an AA in Foreign Language and TELF certification? I'm an American Citizen.

The answer to the question is, sadly, there are plenty of schools and companies who will hire people with minimal qualifications provided they look and sound the part. If you wants to deal with a lot of visa nonsense, be paid less than your contemporaries, but still make more than the local populace, you can get a job pretty much anywhere. It's best to get the proper credentials required for the legitimate work visa in any country.

I have a TEFL certification and I'm teaching at a wonderful language school in the far northeast of Russia.
