Disney English often offers contracts of 12, 15 or 18 months depending on the demand and need for different cities. The most usual is 12 or 15.
It has been known that once you do a 15 month contract you can change your next one to 12.
You can however leave whenever you want of course, but you will be required at different time periods throughout your contract to pay back various things that have been given to you on the assumption that you'd fulfill your contract, such as airfare, accommodation deposit etc.
It also takes about a month to cancel your work permit/ FEC etc and this will stop you from working elsewhere in China during that time because you can't be issued a new one whilst the old one is being cancelled. It'll also take a month to claim back your pension and claim your medical allowance.
