The course does have recommendations about methods of teaching appropriate for children, adolescents and adults. If you have teaching background it will be easier to understand the methods and how to use them for each age category. If you do not have one you will need to read some books about the topic.

Well this certificate course is from the standpoint of teaching children and adults in general. So you should be able to do either.
