As far as the recruiters I've spoke to, it's a yes. Uni-Prep has all the required components, it's recognized internationally, more then 100hrs and offers a student teaching component.
Hi Kim, I've never taught in Haiti. I would suggest contacting a couple schools to see what the require. However, I've found this TESOL Certification contains the components required by several countries. If you are considered, reach out and ask those districts.

Hi Pauline, In Russia, most schools are looking for candidates with university degrees and TEFL certification (RSA/Cambridge, Trinity College, or equivalent). Equivalent TEFL certificate programs should include 100-120 hours of classroom instruction plus 6-8 hours of observed teaching time. Chances are very good. There is a need for English teachers as long as you are willing to try a new country and culture. I had a job offer before I finished the course, but I wouldn't count on that as the norm. Work hard and be enthusiastic and you'll receive a deserved position you will thrive in.

In the Domincan Republic, most schools and programs require some sort of teaching certification in order for instructors to teach English.
