Is it possible to work for a smaller amount of time?

As a teacher, I am looking into opportunities to work while on summer break. I am interested to participate during my 7 week summer in June and July. Would this be a possible option?
Working for a few months is definitely possible, but not on the Au Pair Netherlands program, since families there tend to ask for a 10-12 month commitment.
