Good! Learn a lot about English teaching like PPP, theory of it, phonology, teaching methodology, lesson plan, error correction, adult learning theory.

Teacher is very supportive on homeworks and encourages me to keep learning. Quizzes is hard for me but i think its OK to make mistakes while learning.

It is a great way to start your teaching career by studying tesol in ontesol.

I am a person who has a passion for teaching. I truly enjoy my work. As an educator, over the years a deep desire grew in my heart to update and equip myself in teaching English as a language both onsite and online. In my focus to fulfil my desire, I knew that I had to prepare myself with adequate knowledge and effective skills to teach in the most efficient manner.

When I was looking for a really good and genuine program which will enable me to teach English onsite and online, I had a checklist of questions which were of great importance to me and these questions were:
* Is the teaching site reliable?
* Is the certificate recognised and accepted by schools and online teaching employers?
* Is it expensive or affordable?
* Are the content good and informative enough?
* Will the tutors be genuine and helpful?

In my search for one of the best and most reliable courses that would enable me to teach English, I came across a lot of advertisements through the internet ( mainly on YouTube). I had a lot of choices, however,I was not sure of which one to opt for. With several fake and unreliable teaching sites and affiliations out there, I was quite confused. After asking around I finally came to know about the 168-hour Hybrid TEFL Certificate program provided by the prestigious Ontesol. I was introduced to the course by some friends and I am so thankful to them as the course ticks every question on my checklist( as mentioned above) which might also be questions that future participants would want to know.

I had a wonderful and unique learning experience with the course as it was the first time that I had ever had the privilege to learn from a native English speaker. During the Live online workshops, I also had the pleasure to interact with learners as myself who were from different parts of the world.

My experience in this journey of learning via Ontesol has been enriching and enlightening. The program also helped me to learn more on interesting and engaging activities that could make the teaching-learning process fun-filled and fruitful. I did have times when I found some of the assignments quite challenging, however, with the help of such wonderful tutors I could overcome it and became more knowledgeable. The tutors always helped to clarify confusions and questions that I had which really helped me to succeed in my assignments. The four Live workshops that we had in the course were also fun-filled and informative where aspirant teachers from different parts the world could come together and learn in an enjoyable manner. The Live workshops were so interesting that I wish we could have more of the workshops and not just four. It was great not only to learn about the content but also to acquire knowledge from the teaching experiences of the tutors. The knowledge that they shared about their own teaching experiences of what to be prepared for in a class and how to handle learning situations in an appropriate manner were truly wise words to learn from.

The course of 168-hour Hybrid TEFL Certificate program made available via Ontesol is definitely a great online learning site that equips one to teach English as a language both onsite and online effectively. I as a student of the course would certainly recommend it to anyone who has a heart for teaching English as a language. The course has really helped to stretch my mind and grow more in knowledge. I truly believe that the valuable insights that I have gained through the course has enabled me to be a better teacher and teach in the most efficient manner.

I learned a lot in this course. Was very skeptical about online delivery at first, but the course was challenging enough to keep my interest. 10/10 recommend. The tutor was very helpful and answered all my questions along the way. Be prepared to study a lot, if you want a quick fix this course might not be the right fit for you. This is a course to take if you want to teach in canada or abroad. Hoping to take this experience and teach overseas. Thanks ontesol, I will recommend this to anyone eho wants to learn more and improve their language skills.

One topic I had never learned about before was phonology and Andragogy (The Adult Learner). I really liked the tutors Margaret, Aaron and Claudia. All of them has eplained in details all my doubts. The methodology, the videos, the lesson planning workshops were very helpful for me. I could even watch the workshops twice, I have watched twice by my choice to improve my listening skill. So, it was worth every minute of studying, as I learned a lot. I liked it so much that I continue taking other courses they offer. My private tutor Margaret is wonderful.

Materials were easy to find and read. OnTesol admin and tutors reply back to messages and emails within the designated time (48hrs). Course is pretty straight forward. Anyone can do it if you set your mind to it, especially with tutors being there to help at all times. Dead lines are flexible and very easy to fit around your busy everyday schedule. 120 hours is plenty of time to finish the whole course hands down. If more time is needed, you can simply extend for a fee. This will be really helpful for wrorking adults. Overall very good experience and would reccommend.

I have been a certified teacher for over 25 years. I opened my own school in Japan and had staff teachers from all over the world. I decided to take OnTESOL course to further my knowledge.
Even after all these years of teaching experiences, I was motivated by how much more there was to learn in the ESL field, thank you OnTESOL.
Most of all, the professor that tutored me was an AMAZING instructor. if I take more classes, I would like to study with Professor FLORINA again.

It took me some time to find the right TESOL course. Now I know I made the right decision choosing the 250-hour TESOL diploma from ONTESOL. The support was great, my tutor answered all my questions and helped me when I needed it. The assignments and tasks were hard work but the best way to learn and to practice. I would recommend it to anyone that is in doubt and does not know which course to choose. This one is the right choice!

I have had a great experience with ONTESOL. From the very beginning and right after I signed up for the course. The Admin Team was very prompt to answer my questions about the course prior to signing up and so was the tutor. I had a tutor name Aaron and it was very delightful to correspond with him. Furthermore, he helped me to navigate the course seamlessly. The course was very beneficial to me and I feel very equipped to start my new career as an online ESL teacher. I am confident that I will eventually get the opportunity to teach in a classroom. Choosing ONTESOL was a great decision!

I was teaching English to school students in India for more than 12 years before I shifted to Canada. Here, the type of students and their needs changed as now I would be teaching students who didn't share the same mother tongue as mine. I also came across people who spoke neither English, nor my mother tongue and nevertheless needed to learn English. I am forever grateful to this wonderful self-paced program and especially to my tutor Florina. She has always promptly guided me whenever needed. She even went an extra mile to make sure I got my assignments right by giving me detailed instructions before modules that could feel difficult.
