I started getting private students from Teacher Finder over a year ago. I really liked the ease at which the program worked. I received an email with all of the information from the students and contacted them to set up the first lesson. The fees and cancellation policy were already established so that I did not have to negotiate with the students, which saved a lot of head aches.

On regular intervals, the administrators check with me as to my availability and what I was looking for in prospective students. This also really helped in finding students that were a good fit for my skills and background as a teacher.

Overall, the best thing about Teacher Finder is that they connect you with the students and then get out of your way and let you do your job.

I started my cooperation with Teacher Finder early this year when I was doing my Erasmus in Berlin. I really wanted to earn some extra cash because, although I got most of my expenses covered, Berlin is such a cool city and I wanted to enjoy it with a bit of financial liberty.

So, I signed up on the Teacher Finder website and they referred me private students. Since I major in Education and had a few years' experience in being an assistant teacher, I was lucky enough to get a pretty constant stream of private students coming my way from them. I really enjoyed the flexibility of this system and the amount of control I had over the process. I've also worked in language schools in Asia during my gap year but I definitely liked the private student set up a lot more.
