One of the best experiences ever. Would recommend to all especially medics. The staff were very helpful and aided me through the application process. Many extras curricular opportunities were also provided with regular events and trips to museums and even a trip to London to see wicked. I enjoyed the freedom of being able to roam around at my own leisure and explore Oxford as a magnificent Roman city. It was one of the best 2 weeks of my life!

My experience in Oxford was great! I've met a lot of new, great people, found a lot of friends and also, learned a lot of interesting things...
I had so much fun! Even three months later I can't stop talking about all about what happened there.
We walked around the wonderful Oxford's city, while also getting tons of souvenirs for our family and friends.
I loved the little trips on the bus! We visited the Windsor castle, a really big zoo and a lot more!
I have so many great memories from there! I'll never forget Oxford. There will always be a place in my heart for it.
Thank you, for this great opportunity! I will definitely come back there next year...

It is really difficult to improve this programme, as everything was fantastic. The welcoming and first icebreaker were really overwhelming and inviting. The course was challenging and high qualified, plus the staff offered help whenever you needed. The dorms were suites with shared kitchens and there is literally no crime in Saint Andrews. The only problems were the food offered, which was not that good on specific days, and the fact that the town of Saint Andrews is too small, therefore there were not many things to do. However, I am sure this programme did it all!

After having participated in the ORA broadening horizons course for two weeks this summer, I can hands down say this has been the best summer of my life. Not only was it fun and exciting but also educational and informative.
It was almost like being in an alternate universe. It was a time and place where everyone disconnected from their problems and issues at home and became enveloped in this wonderful experience. I made friends from all over the world and to this day, about two months later I still am in contact with them.
All famous staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and spend their time ensuring that everyone is having a good time and enjoying themselves.
Classes were very interesting, I can honestly say I've learnt a lot and teachers take the time to explain their lessons but also make them upbeat and maintain us students interested.
I would 100% recommend this to anyone that wants to have the opportunity to expand their knowledge from both a cultural and academic perspective.

Oxford Royale Academy Summer School was an amazing experience and I’m sure that I will never forget it! I took the New Perspectives course, from which I choose three subjects: Physics & Chemistry, Human Biology and Essay Writing Skills. All the classes were interesting and gave me the opportunity to explore these areas further than I have the chance to do at school. I loved the teachers as well and all the members of the staff. They were always happy to help us, not only in classes but also outside of them, and that made this experience much better. But ORA is much more than just the classes, ORA is all about meeting people from all over the world and that’s what makes it so special. For example, I had the chance to meet people from Australia, Malaysia, Germany, USA, China, Italy, Madagascar, and from many other countries altogether. I never imagined I would identify myself with all these people, but the truth is that after the two weeks it seemed like we knew each other for much longer. Besides the classes, we had a lot of activities, for instance, I went punting, which is a traditional activity in Oxford, and I just loved it! We also went to London, to visit the Aquarium and the London Eye and to the Blenheim Palace, where we had a very relaxing time! Finally we had two parties, and they were by no means the best ones I have been in my life, the atmosphere was really cool, everyone was having fun and on account of the themes of the parties, everything was decorated according to them and it made them wonderful! Basically, ORA is a great opportunity to learn new things, to try new activities but mainly, ORA is an opportunity to make friends from all over the world, to know other cultures and to learn to live in a community where we respect each other and learn from each other, because we all came from different backgrounds and we all had different stories to tell!

This allowed me to gain some experience before heading out to university. This taught me to become independent and changes have been seen by members of my family. I have learnt to adapt to my environment and accept people idead, through meeting people of different backgrounds, races, and personalities. The course I took (Intro to Engineering) taught gave me an insight of what engineering is like and made me sure that it is the career I would like to follow

I travelled a lot in my life, I went to summer schools and met so many people from different countries but, I could have never imagined that my experience in Oxford would have been this good. I made frienships that I know will last for a lifetime, they all became my second family and I'm really greatful for that. I learned so many things about university life and the topic I want to study, and I'm now feeling confident with my decisions and ready to start this new adventure in college. I start my day thinking about how much I want to go back to those moments with the Oxford Royale Academy, however I'm ready for what the future will bring me and I can't wait to meet my friends again next summer. Thank you ORA for making my summer the best I could possibly ever have.

The experience that Oxford Royale provided me with was one of the most memorable. I interacted and made friends with a diverse bunch of students with similar interests to my own. It gave me the opportunity to work toward an subject that I might choose to further and come back after the two weeks as a more independent individual. The classes were enthralling and creatively taught. A series of techniques and concepts were taught. I was pushed to work harder but have come back a more responsible and diligent person. It was the first time that I was not ‘coddled’ and truly given a chance to take care of myself. All the counsellors were approachable at all points of time. We were taken on a series of excursions but given a chance to also explore Oxford on our own and Get a taste of college life. For somebody that has had very bad experiences at courses in the past, this has truly changed my entire perspective. It’s helped me not on explore my chosen field and make lifelong friends, but also gain confidence and greatly contributed to my character. It gave me the chance to truly understand the responsibilities that are inherent with independence and opportunity. This was truly the best two weeks of my entire life.

When I came to Oxford I hoped I was going to have a great time. Not only did this hope come true, but the experience I have had in my two weeks in Oxford was also challenging, fulfilling and extremely instructive. The campus I lived on was beautiful and the people I met were brilliant. The friends I have made from all over the world are ones that I will stay in contact with for many years to come. The lessons I have learned were of immense value to me and have inspired me to continue along the academic path I want to take. Over the time period of my course I have grown in a way I could not have grown if I had not come to ORA. So I advice everyone who considers applying to an ORA-course to take this opportunity and do it. There is so much waiting for you.

Best camp ever! To be honest, the main reason I wanted to come was not for the education but, to come have fun In Cambridge. But, as the program went on, I realized how important and useful the content was and I really wanted to focus on my studies. As I got to Cambridge, it was absolutely beatiful, I was so anxious to explore! We got a lot of free time to go arround the city and I cherished every second of it. Another thing I loved is that the coucelors and staff were so nice and friendly. The rooms are cleaned everyday which is amazing, the food for dinner is good, life there is great. I highly recommend everyone to go to the ORA Programme and spend as much time as they can over there. ORA, thank you for a great experience!
