The famed Chess Pavilion on Huashan Mountain in Shaanxi province of central China. One can climb down to the pavilion using a harness system, and view the breathtaking mountain range.
A vew from the Shanghai Financial Center, one of the tallest buildings in Shanghai (and therefore the world!) It's free to go to the top on your birthday, and you can bring two friends at a half price discount. Look out over the Huangpu River and see the bustling city and beautiful lights.
