It was my very first time leaving my continent and I highly recommend it! The staff was so welcoming and helpful which was extremely important considering I traveled alone and did not know the language fluently. They provided so much support and honestly more than they needed to which I am extremely grateful. I also was able to make a ton of new friends and meet so many interesting and brilliant people. I encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and just go! Thank you TEFL team and I hope to be back in Spain again soon!

TEFL Iberia has forever changed me as educator. Prior to the program, I had taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in the US for 4 years. I was worried that the program might not be as useful for me as it would for a new teacher, but that feeling quickly faded. Not only did I gain experience teaching adults, but I learned so much about the English language in a few short weeks. The program coordinators and tutors are incredibly knowledgeable, accessible, and understanding. The facilities are beautifully maintained and host a comfortable working/learning environment. I was so thankful to have been setup with a host and living accommodations. Finally, the friendships that I have made with other participants in the program are those that will last a lifetime. Barcelona is magical, and I would do the program all over again in a heartbeat!

I completed the Trinity CertTESOL course in August 2022 and loved it! The location of the school is perfect - in the heart of Barcelona, you can try lots of new restaurants in the area, see the beautiful sights the city has to offer and the weather is a bonus too. The school is modern, clean, bright, and fully equipped with everything you need. The library has all materials and books you need for preparing classes and developing your skills as a teacher. The staff are SO friendly and helpful, they are always on hand to guide you through the course and create a relaxing atmosphere for you to learn. The course has a mix of input tutorials and teaching practice. What I loved about the course is that you practice your teaching skills from week 1. Although this was daunting at first, you are fully supported by the tutors and this boosted my confidence in teaching massively. By the end of the 4-week course, I felt I had learned so much and was confident to teach English. The tutors continued to support me in making my CV and helped me apply for English teaching jobs in Barcelona.

The school really does offer everything you would want in a TEFL school. I am so glad I decided to move here and complete the course with TEFL Iberia. I am now studying here on the developing teacher course to hone my teaching abilities.

I just finished the 160 hour intensive course and I couldn't recommend it more. The instructors are all incredibly friendly and knowledgable and the atmosphere and the facilities at the location are all excellent. The school is committed both to educating you and helping you find employment as swiftly as possible after completion of the course. The workload was significant but manageable as the instructors are dedicated to assisting you every step of the way. There is a focus on crafting fun and interesting language lessons for the students rather than simply following the course book.

Some people would say that TEFL Iberia’s certification course is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And it is. But that's also an enormous understatement.

Getting my TESOL certification in July of 2019 wasn’t just a once-in-a-lifetime experience: it was an experience whose impact will last a lifetime. The course opened up a world of possibilities for me—quite literally—and equipped me with the teaching skills, intercultural appreciation, and practical knowledge to seek them out.

Surrounded by a diverse group of students genuinely engaged in and passionate about our work, supported by instructors equally invested in and enthusiastic about our success, my TESOL certification course was truly one of the most enriching, fulfilling, and enjoyable months of my life, one whose afterglow stays with me to this day.

It's never easy to make the decision of moving to a new country and changing your career path: it is certainly an intimidating journey! But the staff and community at TEFL Iberia have helped to make this new country feel like home even before I arrived.
The structure of the course strikes the perfect balance between learning theory and putting it into practice when you plan and teach different levels. I really enjoyed input sessions and teaching practice with feedback from experienced tutors who really love what they do.
Thanks to this experience I made very good friends, met interesting people from different backgrounds, became a qualified EFL teacher and found a teaching job soon after completing the course.

TEFL Iberia is amazing!! Everything from the teachers to the location of the school. They help you with everything like housing and visas for example. The teachers are willing to help you around the clock so you are confident in your work and not stressed. The workload is intense but you are supported all the way. The environment at the school is really positive, I've made lots of friends on the course and it was great to meet local students in the practice classes. I would highly recommend TEFL Iberia!

Tefl Iberia is such an incredible academy and I couldn't be happier with how my life has turned out living in Spain since finishing the course. The amount of support you receive from your tutors is beyond amazing, I was given the upmost attention and time and the team ensured that I was feeling confident throughout the whole duration of the course. Along with the incredible support, I was equipped with all the skills and knowledge to allow me to enter the real world as a confident ESL teacher. I was provided with job and CV support which had me landing a job just 2 weeks after graduating the course and I have had their continuous support ever since! The location of the school is perfect, the facilities are great and the people are even greater. I cannot recommend TEFL Iberia enough!

Taking this course at TEFL Iberia was 1 of the best decisions I have EVER made!!

Don´t even think about it, just do it! The course made me step out of my comfort zone, I got over my fear of standing in front of a class and I learned so much within a month! The course is quite intense, but the end result makes it all worthwhile!! :)
You learn different teaching methods, create your own teaching material and get to experience what it´s really like to be a teacher! The tutors are phenomenal, they offer you as much help as they can, but at the same time leave you enough space to be creative and express yourself as a new teacher! Apart from helping you develop your teaching skills, the instructors also help you with your CV, and prepare you for what is to come once the course is over.

The school atmosphere is fantastic and everyone is happy and ready to help you with any enquiry you might have! There are always interesting people in the small library the school offers, making it a great opportunity for you to meet people from around the world. :)

A wonderful and unforgettable experience!

I had the most amazing experience with TEFL Iberia! Everyone from the staff to the teachers were happy to help in any way possible. Picking to do my studies in Barcelona was the best decision as well. There are so many opourtunities for jobs when you're done with the course here. The staff will help you extend your visa, which can be challenging at times. The course work itself is planned out nicely so you're not too overwhelmed. They help you with small things like what to pack to come, to bigger things like securing your housing for you. They make sure you are comfortable with who and where you are living. Overall I had a good experience and have no bad comments. You will not regret it if you get your TEFL certificate with TEFL Iberia, I can't thank them enough!
