My three weeks with iSPiiCE were some of the most memorable of my life. I think this program is one of the most authentic ways to visit India; it's safe, has a wide variety of activities, and you will make a difference! The iSPiiCE staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. They work countless hours to make sure your experience is positive and your impact is valuable to the community. You will witness the beautiful people of India and help them learn valuable skills, such as learning basic English and technology. I still think about my trip to India daily, and strongly recommend this program to anyone interested in visiting India!

if you are reading these reviews that means that you are already in the beautiful Himalayas and the most amazing experience awaits you! Please don't hesitate! If it's to spend time doing something worthwhile then Ispiice is your program. If it's value for money and safety then Ispiice is your program. If it's the opportunity to meet amazing people then Ispiice is your program. If it's culture and food then Ispiice is your program. And if it's a combination of all the above then believe me Ispiice is your program. I spent nearly 6 weeks and didn't want to leave. But when I did my experience continued with the chance to see even more of the wonderous India. I travelled to take up the opportunity on my own but once I was greeted in Delhi I was never on my own. My accomodation and food was like being in the Taj Mahal and the hospitality of Verun and his team is priceless. What more can I say?

I spent two months with iSPiiCE and had the most amazing experience, and made memories that will stay with me forever. I was nervous of travelling to India alone, but the iSPiiCE team quickly put me at ease, meeting me directly from the airport. The time I spent with the charity was so varied from working with women to looking after a nursery class to teaching English, and free time to discover the beauty of the local area. The trips that iSPiiCE offers are an extra bonus, providing you the opportunity to see iconic parts of India such as the Taj Mahal, though I think the trek into the Himalayas was my favourite. I cannot speak highly enough of the program and the staff that make it what it it is, and would recommend it to anyone thinking about heading to India or carrying out charity work. I would love to return to see familiar faces in the future.

I spent two weeks with ISpiice a few years ago and it was a fantastic experience. We spent the mornings working at a daycare/preschool with young children teaching them English and other basic concepts. The teachers at the school were welcoming and so grateful for the help and the children were absolutely adorable! In the afternoon, we spent time repainting one of the preschool centers for the kids and then went and tutored older children in English and taught them geography, etc. The kids were so eager to learn even after spending all day in school and soaked up everything we had to offer. They were some of the brightest children I have ever had the privilege of working with, even though they had so little.
The staff at Ispiice were also amazing and worked really hard to make sure we were comfortable. I never felt unsafe while I was there and really enjoyed that we were able to do excursions on the weekends (hiking, Taj Mahal) all for a reasonable price. You can truly see how dedicated the staff are to their mission and that every dollar they get is truly spent on helping these kids and not wasted on useless overhead. Their passion and love for the kids that they are working with is evident. I hope to be able to go back again someday when I could visit for longer!

Everyday volunteering was a new adventure. I had the opportunity to teach English and computer skills to women and children. Some days were more difficult than others, especially because of the language barrier. This, though, didn't stop students' eagerness to learn, and in turn, didn't cease my excitement to teach. The iSPiiCE staff had excellent resources for us teachers to implement into our day to day activities, which was very useful. The relationships with students and staff were not only built, but have been maintained. I left India inspired. And because of this, I can't wait to go back to reunite with the iSPiiCE family!

Two years ago I volunteered with Ispiice, and it had a profound impact on my life. Not only did I get to see a whole new part of the world, but I have the opportunity to learn about the culture and feel as though I was giving something back. The program is modest and it is clear that the funding goes directly to the community. It was nice to volunteer directly with children and families and to feel as though every day we had a chance to help. The children and their teachers and parents are so grateful and appreciative for both the time and effort put into improving the education and quality of life. The staff at Ispiice volunteer along side you and really make you feel welcome! It was a fantastic experience.

I had a wonderful experience volunteering with iSpiice. I was able to make meaningful connections with my students and really felt that I was starting to become immersed in the culture. When researching volunteer programs, I wanted to find an organization that was based in India and run by locals who knew the community, which is why I chose this organization over other, larger ones that run many trips all over the world.

I couldn't wait to return to India after this experience, and luckily was able to study there for a semester in my next year of college. I met some great people - from the students I taught, to the iSpiice staff, to my fellow volunteers.

iSpiice met all my expectations and more. I was supported and well looked after in work and tour activities. Each day I met with eager learners who seemed to get a lot from lessons and interactions with English speakers. Staff at iSpiice are some of the most helpful people I have met and have a real understanding the needs of their volunteers. Not only was iSpiice amazing fun, but it gives the right balance between social/fun and work/volunteer activities. Overall a great programme and a fantastic country :)

I volunteered with iSPiiCe in 2012 and I have to admit, it was one of the greatest and most rewarding experiences i've ever had.
Varun and the team at the Dharamshala camp are extremely friendly, exceptionally kind (especially to us sometimes clueless tourists) and they strive to make every experience you have in India safe whilst not sacrificing any of the magic of the Indian experience.
The volunteer work, helping to teach Indian school children english, was tremendously rewarding. The fee's are worth the opportunity to have a gorgeous indian child sit on your lap and recite the alphabet you've taught him.
The sites that iSPiiCE tours with volunteers are immaculate and must sees on anybodies Indian experience. The Himalayan mountain trek ventures to breath taking views. On the Golden Temple visit in Armistar, you can feel the pulsation of Sikh religion in the air, and of course, the Taj Mahal is a beauty unparalleled.
Varun and the entire team at iSPiiCe can most certainly guarantee you a safe, fun and above all else, rewarding, indian experience and I HIGHLY recommend iSPiiCE to anyone considering volunteer opportunities in India.

I loved every part of my experience at iSPiiCE. I grew really close to the people I was helping, I learnt a lot from them and their culture and I really had the impression I was making a difference by supporting this community. It's not only what I took from that experience, it's really the impression of having an impact and be useful. I highly recommend anyone who would like to volunteer in India to do it through iSPiice.
