When I first decided to come to China to start my teaching career, I felt both excited and overwhelmed. Moving to a new country is never easy, and the idea of navigating visas, job placements, documents, and cultural differences made the whole process feel intimidating. But from the very beginning, TLE proved to be the kind of agency that not only guides you, but genuinely cares about your success and well-being. Looking back now, I realise that my journey would have been twice as difficult without them, and I am truly grateful for the support they gave me from day one.

TLE helped me with so much effort, patience, and professionalism. Even when I was still completely new in China—trying to figure out transportation, communication apps, and basic daily tasks—they never hesitated to assist me. From the very start, everyone at TLE have been extremely welcoming, supportive and helpful in every aspect of my journey in both massive changes of helping me with documentation and finding an apartment as well as the little things they do such as the welcome gift and always giving me a bottle of water when I go to the office. TLE took all of my little stresses away as they helped set up everything for me to help me integrate my life in Shenzhen. These things, both big and small, is what really sets TLE apart and has helped my move to China to be seamless and help me hit the ground running within the teaching.

I am having such a great time so far, Shenzhen has so much to offer as a city and teaching in a school abroad allows you to develop your teaching and life skills and looks excellent on your CV. I am happy with my housing arrangement, the social activities TLE puts on, the training programme before I started my teaching and so many other things. Thank you TLE!

So my situation was very complicated. Of course I needed to find a job but I also have a family and we all come from different countries. So getting visas is very difficult. But TLE helped through the whole process. And not just help, but they walked us through the whole process. So many times I was amazed because I wouldn’t have know where to start had it not been for their direction.

And the school I ended up in is absolutely amazing! TLE also continues to provide support and training to continue to improve my teaching. It’s so awesome!

What I want to stress is that if you’re excited to start teaching in China but are a little nervous about the whole process then I highly recommend TLE. They have your back! And they will cheer you on the whole way!

Honestly, where to begin. The first day of arriving, I wanted to book a flight ticket back home, because I felt so overwhelmed and anxious, but when I met familiar faces, “meeting TLE,” all that went away. I don’t know what I would have done if it weren’t for TLE. They are truly amazing people, they help you in many ways, you won't feel lost or overwhelmed, they will help you out, they will do everything for you and help you where you're struggling 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌. You won’t regret it when you come to China and begin your teaching career.

This experience has been really fantastic. TLE is a wonderful group of people to work with that made my transition to China so seamless and simple. From health checks, to setting up my SIM card, they’re with us every step of the way and beyond. The company is a fantastic support network to help me when issues arise. They’ve found a fantastic school for me to work at and I am very happy with my current placement. TLE really simplifies the process for you and lets you ease into your new life here.

The experience of coming over to China to teach can be overwhelming. But you meet a lot of people who become your support group and friends. It’s a unique experience and definitely recommend. You truly never stop learning. Through the process you learn more about your self and teaching methods. One of the many perks of teaching in China there is always something to do (that won’t break the wallet…that much). Always expect to find something exciting around the corner. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and remember mistakes are how we learn.

My experience with TLE has been extremely rewarding. Ever since the first day there has been a great feeling of support. If i had any problems they were always quickly responded and resolved very easily. The staff always work hard to ensure that I had the best experience possible.
