TL;DR: I got stranded in Te Anau and the first thing I do is call Robin. He was able to comfort me and after a few calls, provide options to get me back to QT safely.

WHS will go out of their way to ensure safety and happiness.

Robin is the most honest travel guru with a great sense of humour. So easy going (a true Kiwi characteristic) and knowledgeable! No hesitation on calling out the tourist traps and giving legit advice on what to do, where to go, and how get there.

Truly, it's like having a personal travel guru around nearly 24/7.

This program was all i needed on my trip. Robin (The owner) set me off with a great start by sorting every bureaucratic things out for me and giving me knowledge about New Zealand - This was only the beginning, the rest of the time he served as a friend you could go to if you were in trouble, needed advice or just wanted to book a bus through him (He could do it without the booking fee!) I can really think of no downsides, it has been perfect!

My gap year in NZ was stress-less thanks to their help. From the first day in NZ to the last I was in touch with the team at working holiday starter and I believe that I did not only saved time, I also saved a lot of money! Their advices were spot on and made my trip super easy.

Only "bad" point, the hostel used for the 1st few days could be better under new management, but Auckland CBD does not offer any good quality hostel so it was the best of the bunch anyway.

Working Holiday Starter really made this trip to New Zealand one of the greatest experiences I have ever had.

What was probably the most useful, is the help they have provided me for finding a job. Within less than two weeks after my arrival I could actually already start my new job. Further on they have been a really big help getting done all the administrative stuff related to working in New Zealand.
