I used my tefl cert to help me prepare for teaching in Thailand and online. It was great foundational education and it's been super useful. I often go back to the course as a refresher. Good value as well. Overall this cert was well worth it.

I chose to contact MyTefl due to the positive reviews I saw posted online via both websites and personal blogs. I first contacted Mytefl.com with questions and all were happily answered (quite quickly) by Mislav. When I decided to take the course, I shared my college transcripts as a way to get 50% off my course since they offer a full-time university student discount. This made their already well-priced courses even more affordable. They quickly issued my discount and I happily began my 140-hour master course. As a non-education major who is seeking a job overseas, I found the MyTefl course easy to navigate and understand. I also loved the free tutoring they offer if any questions arise when you are completing their courses. Additionally, the material and quizzes are engaging and the MyTefl platform was easy for a novice like me to navigate. I also appreciate that this fabulous company offers a built-in library with a vast number of teaching resources their students and alumni can use in their careers, in addition to job placement assistance. I honestly have no complaints and highly recommend this wonderful TEFL course to anyone who is seeking a TEFL certificate or wishes to teach overseas.

The course was easy to follow and very informative! The material and quizzes are engageing and the platform is easy to navigate.There are also so many useful resources sprinkled thoguht the course. I was easily able to fit it into my daily routine and had a lot of fun completing a lesson every day!

I was initially in contact with Vincent at MyTEFL. He offered customer service that hit home. With how he responded to my initial email and considering that he offered me what I needed so that I could get started, I am grateful I chose MyTEFL. Regarding the reading material, I was initially expected that I would have to watch videos, but upon paying, I found that it was all in written form, which worked out well for me because everything was succinct and well-thought out. I'm now ready to move to Chengdu China!

The subject matter is thorough and well formatted. The regular use of short review quizzes is good for the student to keep on top of each unit of study.
As an inexperienced on-line learner, the course built my self confidence.
The presentation of teaching strategies is solid and sensible. However I suspect someone new to teaching might feel more reassured with some visual examples to illustrate the concepts. In my case this was not necessary as I am an experienced teacher, in fact I have mentored and tutored many first year placements and student teachers. This is their most significant field of self doubt. Usually the content is their strength.
As I said this course gave some very succinct and helpful advice on teaching strategies.

The 140-Hour program through myTEFL was extremely thorough and well worth the (rather affordable) cost. Throughout the course, I was highly impressed with how up-to-date course content was as it was easy to see that the course is consistently being improved upon. The only thing I would've enjoyed seeing a bit more of is video content. As someone who learns best by witnessing things firsthand, I would have loved to watch the teaching methods in action. I also wish there was a way I could look back at this course throughout my first months teaching (it expires 180 days after you gain your certification), but the built-in library offers a plethora of resources to download to bring with you into your budding career.

Overall, I loved taking this course and found myself spending hours going through modules before even realizing I'd spent so much time learning. If you are on the fence about going through with a TEFL certification, I highly recommend myTEFL not only for their courses, but also for their aid in job searching as well.

After much research, I decided to give myTEFL 120 hour course a try and I'm glad I did! UI is clean and content/quizzes are very engaging and relevant to all levels of experience. I plan to teach English for the first timr in Japan but will start online teaching for now due to Covid-19. I feel like this course gave me confidence to pursue this goal. Customer service is AMAZING. It's also great to be able to refer back to course material after finishing upon request. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to teach English for the first time or veterans as a refresher.

I am so grateful I came across this online course because it took me about one month to complete it. I have to say that I was very motivated to have my certification as an ESL teacher so I can apply to work oversea, so it was very easy to work on it everyday for about one hour.

-The material is very easy to understand, very well explained and presented, and gives you opportunity to discover helpful website with activities or materials.
-Support team is very accessible and reply quickly when you encounter a problem.

Finally, I highly recommend the program to anyone who is seeking to expand their teaching skills and want to go oversea. It is the best opportunity and I am excited to be part of a new project outside my home country.
