You will not regret taking Samui TEFL's 4-week course. I completed the course in Nov 2013 and it really was an amazing experience. I learned so much in such a short period of time. The course is quite intense, but also allows for a lot of fun with some really awesome people. Not only did I learn how to become a confident teacher, it was an experience I'll never forget. The staff is incredibly helpful on every level and so supportive. They also keep the class size small, the variety of teacher practices are great, the learning facility is nice and convenient, and Ko Samui is beautiful. You really can't go wrong!

The course really did change my life. Not only did it change my outlook about teaching in general, but it boosted my self-confidence in ways I never thought possible.
The lessons were always interesting and fun and we always learnt things that were 'real-world' relevant.
You get total support from staff, a thorough syllabus, constant encouragement, AND help in finding a job.
Intensive theory along with practical teaching sessions in real schools means that you graduate from this course feeling confident that you are ready for a 'proper' teaching job.

I was looking for a course that was professional and thorough and that REALLY taught me how to teach. And that's what I got! We went through everything needed: different methods of teaching, English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.), lesson planning, cultural awareness, all the different sources you can use to create your lessons, etc. And we had 6 teaching practices in 4 different schools with real students of different ages: the best way to experience what life as an English teacher is like! Kathryn, the trainer, is brilliant. She has so much experience and she loves sharing it with her students. I thoroughly enjoyed her classes! Rosanne takes care of everything 'backstage' and she'll do anything to answer all your questions. Yes, these 2 ladies offer an excellent TEFL course and I very much recommend it!

I recently graduated from Samui TEFL and started teaching at a secondary school on the island. This wouldn't have been possible without the assistance provided by Rosanne Turner (director) and Kathryn Webb (trainer and co-director).

When fellow teachers at school appreciate and borrow your teaching techniques, you know you chose the right TEFL institute. My equally proud batch-matches will agree with me on this. We were well-trained to keep our lessons exciting and articulate at the same time.

The institute had a relaxed homely ambiance with a lovely pool adding warmth to the place. I enjoyed my time on the course and there's no doubt you would too.

I did the course in October 2013 and loved every minute, the content is broken up into manageable chunks and you get a lot of teaching practice time to get a feel of what teaching English is all about. I graduated from the course and got a job at an International school , with help from the course co ordinators:)I met some incredible people and would highly recommend Samui TEFL to anyone intrestes in traveling and teaching!
