Lankey Program was better than I ever imagined, I did the 4-week program with a concentration in Arabic in 2018 and 5-week program in 2019 which I loved because I got to experience both studying and exploring Morocco. Jemaa El Fna, Majorelle Garden, and the Ouzoud waterfall were my highlights. Lankey team was very friendly and knowledgeable and our group got along very well together. For the classes, I had 5 classes a week, which was enough for me to improve my Arabic skills. The Arabic language is totally different than the English Language but Lankey teachers made it easy for me to acquire it a little faster. they were very supportive during my time in Morocco. It was sad to leave Morocco but I hope to be back in the future.

I was very eager to learn French when I began lessons and I had a great experience. I feel as though I learned a lot very quickly and was able to start understanding and replying in French during my time with Lankey. The Teacher was super nice and brilliant. I have learned enough in my three weeks of lessons to converse in French and I hope to continue learning when I return home.
For the excursions, Lankey made every trip funny and enjoyable. I traveled to many cities with friends from different nationalities and I am totally satisfied for every minute during my stay. I, now, have distance friendships with those students and Lankey staff too. they were so nice to everyone and they always tried to make everything perfect. it really felt like home and I didn't feel the time passing! I do recommend Lankey to everyone who wants to visit Morocco! You will have the best time of your life!!

Not only was a month trip with Lankey that left me with wonderful memories and bonded friendships, but it also expanded my perspective on the world. I have felt the importance of culture, heritage, and Art. There is no better place to feel them all than Morocco. It is a rich country with many places to be in. Not to mention how great every city was only a lucky few are able to explore. The Bleu city, Sahara Desert, Marrakesh and many more. got to experience everything from seeing the beautiful spots in Chefchaouen to seeing sunsets in the middle of the Sahara desert. Also, Moroccan food is a must to taste: Tajines, Couscous, Bestillla, etc, I personally can't wait to taste them again.
For the Program, I chose to learn french and I am really happy with my level. The professors did a great job. They were available every time I needed help or when I struggled with something they tried the easiest way to explain. I can tell now I become fluent in French thanks to lanky and its Staff.
Well, No day is ever the same and you get to experience all of it with a crew that truly does become your family. it is a lifechanging experience that I really recommend

I couldn’t have asked for a better month! From the beginning, the organization of the program and the contact with Lankey was excellent; everything went flawlessly. Every single staff member in Lankey was Amazing; very warm, friendly and helpful - I was made to feel at home and supported. I opted for a private room and was very happy with the accommodation in all aspects (cleanliness, comfort, location, safety). My Arabic teacher was better than I expected, and I really appreciated being put at an appropriate level with only one other student in my class. The Arabic classes were handy, and I couldn’t ask for more since Morocco is the best place to learn Arabic and have fun at the same time! I loved that everything I needed was walking distance and I always felt safe no matter the time of day or night. for the trips and excursions, Lankey made everything perfect. I spent a month in Morocco and it feels like months. I was able to travel from north to south and explore all those beautiful cities. Also, I made lifelong friends that I couldn't wait to meet again. All in all, I have zero complaints, and would absolutely recommend this program. I can’t wait to return for another amazing experience!

I had some really amazing weeks in Morocco! The teachers were really good and the classes were pretty small so I felt like I really learned a lot. I met a lot of amazing people and took part in some activities Lankey provided like horse-riding, dancing, and cooking. My time in Morocco with Lankey really worth it. I was able to learn a new language and have fun at the same time which is hard to find easily. Also, meeting Moroccan people was a pleasure for me. they were so welcoming and friendly and helped to feel integrated with the local culture. would recommend it to everybody!

This is a great program to meet new people, learn a lot, and tour a lot of cities in a short amount of time. I visited Morocco last summer for three weeks and it was enough for me to familiarize myself with the culture as well as improve my French level. Lankey program has the perfect mix of structure and freedom with the classes in the morning and the afternoons and weekends to explore the cities. I met so many awesome people from around the world, and the professors were great. They helped to improve my language and be able to speak french fluently. For Lankey Staff, they were there for me anytime I needed them, really Awsome people. Well, It was so fun to be able to tour around Morocco with other teens my age, while also learning a lot in the classes and in our explorations! Lankey's trips were so unique and enjoyable. I had a lot of fun in the Sahara desert, Marrakesh tour, and Chafchaouen city. 

I participated in the Lankey program to learn arabic last summer. I study education and I look forward to teaching foreign languages in the future. It is important for me as an education student to learn the most spoken languages in the world. Even though I was a complete beginner, I feel more comfortable with my arabic skills since my participation in the Lankey language immersion program especially that I signed up for the 8 weeks option. The Lankey program is shaped in a way that ensures participant’s intensive immersion in the Moroccan culture throughout the trips and activities. I had the chance to practice the language in and out of class, with the Lankey representatives, my host family and other participants. I met american, canadian participants and other english speaking participants so I have some new friends. I am very happy about my experience and I would definitely go back to enhance my skills in the arabic language and visit more places in Morocco.

Traveling is my passion and Morocco was one of my dream destinations. Thanks to the Lankey team, I realized my dream trip last summer and I visited the gorgeous moroccan cities like Chefchaouen the blue pearl city and Marrakech the red city, all while learning French. My skills really improved since I had the chance to not only learn the language but also practice it everyday with the participants, my host family and the Lankey team.
The Lankey team customized a schedule for me, based on the activities I wanted to do. I enjoyed riding a horse while watching the sunset after a great afternoon at the beach and so many more activities. I went to a cooking class where I learned how to bake Moroccan homemade bread and it tasted so good. I also had so much fun at the bellydance class. Moroccan hammam or spa is such a lifetime experience, it was so relaxing especially the massage part. These are some of the activities I wanted to experience but the Lankey team has always new ideas and can surprise you during your trip. Special thanks to the Lankey staff who is always available, kind and helpful.

I applied for this program because I love both traveling and learning and I wanted an abroad experience that would allow myself to see as many beautiful places as possible and learn French. What I did not realize is that my fellow crew members would become my second family. From the very first time I arrived to my departure, everyone was always looking out for me to ensure my safety and to make sure I had the best experience possible. Exploring the cities of morocco was one of the best aspects of this program, while French classes were absolutely helpful. Seeing the beautiful stars in The Sahara desert, tasting Moroccan food, and experiencing the Moroccan Hamam were all that made this adventure so much fun. Waking up in a new country with a sense of adventure and excitement almost every day is something I am truly going to miss. Can't wait to be back!

The Lankey staff was with me all along the way. After I submitted my first application to getting to Morocco and even when I returned home, I always had a contact within the program that I could ask questions and get answers from. The best part with Lankey was all of our Cultural Excursions. We had six excursions to different prominent cities in Morocco that gave us a good look at the different cultures within Morocco from the Saraha to North Morocco. We went to things like a traditional Hammam, we had afternoon tea, and went on beach days. These activities showed me new things that I wouldn't have thought to see or do without studying abroad with Lankey!.

Lankey gave us the option of how involved they needed to be. If we needed something, they were there. If we didn't, we could be as independent as we wanted to be. For me, I choose to live in an apartment and be connect with them all the way.

Studying abroad was the experience of a lifetime. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, there are so many programs out there that everyone should be able to find one that they can make work. It broadens your horizons and teaches you life lessons that can only be learned through experiencing them. I have gained confidence and the ability to articulate my Study Abroad experience while in Morocco and since I've been back!
