The World’s best kept secret
Full of surprises, this small sparsely populated country in northern Central America introduces students to a myriad of cultures and languages. Although English is the official language, the people of Belize (just over 300,000) represent a wide array of cultures.
Belize is also home to the Belize Barrier Reef, the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. There are over one thousand registered archaeological sites, some in limestone caves hidden deep in the pristine jungles of the tropical rainforest.
