Marine Science Study Program in Belize

Study abroad in Belize! This 8-day program starts with a behind-the-scenes trip to the Belize Zoo. The next day, explore terrestrial Belize via hiking nature trails and horseback riding. On day three, visit Glovers Reef Research Station, Middle Caye, where the rest of the program takes place. During this portion, students will study the biodiversity and conservation efforts underway at the Belize Barrier Reef. Topics studied during exciting snorkeling adventures include coral reefs, patch reefs and marine species such as sea turtles, sharks, fish and rays. On the morning of day eight, students will return to the Belize City airport.
