Toucan Education Programs presents "An Exploration of Cultural Diversity," where you can earn 3 transferable academic credits while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in Belize.
This intensive program features a 4-day virtual pre-program followed by a 14-day immersive field study experience in Central America. You'll explore the dynamic themes of diaspora, migration, and identity. Engage directly with over seven distinct cultural groups, including the Indigenous Maya, Mestizo, Creole, Garinagu, Mennonite, and more, to gain authentic insights into local life and cultures.
Travel from the historic Cayo District to the vibrant southern coast, developing intercultural expertise and a deep understanding of Belize's rich historical and cultural heritage.
