About Program
The objective of this program is to evaluate the occurrence and abundance of green turtles in the breakwaters of "Molhes da Barra" and the different relationships between turtles and economical activities (fisheries and tourism), through of intentional capture (using free divers and nets), biometrics, sampling and marking of sea turtles, sighting sea turtles from a fixed point and monitoring of artisanal fisheries of both breakwaters - "Molhe Oeste", in Rio Grande municipality and "Molhe Leste", in São José do Norte municipality.
